Families with children pay more attention to environmental protection

A környezetvédelem témakörével foglalkozó reprezentatív, telefonos felmérésünkre 2020 márciusában került sor, melyben a Századvég Alapítvány volt segítségünkre. A kutatás során 469 férfit és 531 nőt kérdeztünk meg. A nemek aránya: 53,1% és 46,9%. Megkérdezettek száma és aránya korcsoportonként: 18-29 évesek 176 fő (17,6%), 30-39 évesek 170 fő (17%), 40-49 évesek 188 fő (18,8%), 50-59 évesek 151 fő (15,1%), 60 éven felüliek 315 fő (31,5%). Megkérdezettek száma és aránya iskolai végzettség szerint: max. 8 általános 238 fő (23,8%), középfokú érettségi nélkül 216 fő (21,6%), érettségi 334 fő (33,4%), diploma (egyetem, főiskola) 212 fő (21,2%). A megkérdezettek 17,9%-a budapesti, 14,7%-uk megyeszékhelyen, 39,3%-uk egyéb városban, míg 28,1%-uk községekben, falvakban él. Többségük Pest megyéből származik (28,1%).<br>

Our representative telephone survey on environmental protection was conducted in March 2020, with the assistance of the Századvég Foundation. In the study, 469 men and 531 women were interviewed, corresponding to 53.1% and 46.9%, respectively. The number and proportion of respondents by age group were as follows: 18–29 years old: 176 people (17.6%), 30–39 years old: 170 people (17%), 40–49 years old: 188 people (18.8%), 50–59 years old: 151 people (15.1%), and 60 years and older: 315 people (31.5%). The number and proportion of respondents by educational attainment were: primary education (up to 8 years of elementary school): 238 people (23.8%), vocational education without secondary school leaving exam: 216 people (21.6%), secondary education (with school leaving exam): 334 people (33.4%), and higher education (university or college degree): 212 people (21.2%). Regarding place of residence, 17.9% of respondents live in Budapest, 14.7% in county seats, 39.3% in other towns, and 28.1% in villages. The majority of respondents come from Pest County (28.1%).<br>
