Family First - Budapest Demographic Summit III. 2019.

Magyarország Emberi Erőforrások Minisztériumának Család- és Ifjúságügyért Felelős Államtitkársága 2019. szeptember 5–6-án harmadik alkalommal rendezte meg a Budapesti Demográfiai Csúcsot Budapesten. A Várkert Bazárban megrendezett rangos nemzetközi eseményen közéleti méltóságok, politikusok, döntéshozók, egyházi és civil vezetők, valamint a média és a tudomány képviselői vettek részt. A konferenciasorozat kezdeményezője, Demény Pál professzor is a résztvevők között volt. A jelen lévő magas rangú politikusok hangsúlyozták a család jelentőségét és a demográfiai problémák megoldásának szükségességét. A felszólalók között szerepelt Orbán Viktor miniszterelnök, Aleksandar Vučić, Szerbia elnöke, Andrej Babiš, Csehország miniszterelnöke, valamint Tony Abbott, Ausztrália korábbi miniszterelnöke. A konferencia lehetőséget biztosított arra, hogy az állami vezetők megosszák gondolataikat többek között a család- és népesedéspolitika versenyképességre és fenntarthatóságra gyakorolt hatásáról, valamint a jövőre vonatkozó stratégiák kidolgozásáról.<br>

The State Secretariat for Family and Youth Affairs of Hungary’s Ministry of Human Capacities organized the Budapest Demographic Summit on 5 and 6 September 2019 in Budapest for the third time. The high-level international event, hosted by Várkert Bazár, was attended by dignitaries, politicians, decision-makers, church leaders, civil society leaders and representatives of the media and scientific circles. Professor Pál Demény, the initiator of the conference series, was also among the audience. The high-ranking politicians who attended the conference emphasized that importance of the family and the necessity for solving the demographic problems. Speakers included Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia, Andrej Babiš, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and Tony Abbot, former Prime Minister of Australia. The conference presented an opportunity for state leaders to share their thoughts on, among others, the impact of family and population policies on competitiveness, sustainability and the elaboration of strategies for the future.<br>
