International Advocacy Workshop by IFFD held in Budapest

Dr. Petra Aczél, Vice President of Research at KINCS gave a presentation at the International Advocacy Workshop of the International Federation for Family Development (IFFD) for experts working in the field of family affairs, this year being held in Budapest.

The purpose of the event is to provide young professionals with an insight into organizations active in the field of family affairs and to gain insight into the operational culture of each international institution. This year's event participants came from 10 countries.

Introductory lecture was held by Dr. Petra Aczél, Vice-President of the Maria Kopp Institute for Demography and Families (KINCS), entitled "Overarching Family Perspective". She has touched upon the key aspects of a family-centered approach, talking about the most typical schools of family research and the areas and success of family-conscious policies. In her presentation, she also reported on the research results of KINCS, which actively contributed to the success of the workshop.
